A day in the life

Solala

I was at an amazing concert tonight at Kalmar theatre, the group was "Solala", three guys singing and playing "kitchen percussion" in a professional, joyful and energetic way that you very rarely experience from a live stage. They make their own arrangements on very high level and it is clear through every note that they love what they are doing and meeting an audience.

They started off in one of the guys kitchen because they wanted to get to know each other better through singing together, isn't that an unusual way for men to meet! After having made a couple of arrangements, they put them out on youtube and very soon they went viral, at least in Sweden. Today they are touring a lot, draw huge audiences and get to do what they love all the time.

Look them up on youtube or go to one of their concerts if you come by one. Here's a link as a starting point "En stund på jorden" by Laleh in their own arrangement, of course with bits in the accompaniment borrowed from mr. Bach.

Yoga continues, I'm through two months now and I think it helps me with my posture and strength in my joints. It's also good as focus training.
I like Adrienes way of leading with understanding and humour.
