Museum Cafe Reopens

A sunny morning, and fairly calm.  As the wintery showers came through the day, so did the wind.  Calm again this evening, and sunny too, but freezing.

A fairly busy day working in the museum.  Rhere was a small Norwegian cruise ship in Lerwick, and plenty of other visitors in too.  Met up with friend Julie and dogs, and headed for a walk this evening.  Off to work in the pub later.

The Hay's Dock cafe closed in November, but today it finally reopened.  My cousin Emma MacDonald and husband Joe are now in full charge.  She has relocated her current business to the museum, Emma-Louise's.  I met up with mam, and also friend Damian, and we headed up for lunch.  A good simple menu, friendly staff and quick service.  This will be a great new venture for both us in the museum, and Emma.  From the moment we opened, it was busy, a bit quieter when I took this after the lunch rush.  Taken at the Shetland Museum, Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
