Cute alert

Walking and gardening has been the order of the day. Walking to the local garden centre for free coffee and to collect more bird food. Gardening for Susan and cutting the grass for me. I hesitate to call it a lawn. Looking good.

Lots of duckings and goslings on the lake in Vinters Valley Nature Reserve. So difficult to get the whole family. The extra is a long distant shot of a (male?) goose getting very protective about his goslings. Shame it could not have been pin sharp, his eye is pure anger.

Cygnet update,the eggs in the nest on Mallards Lake have hatched. Last night as I went by on a run there were 6 or 7 fluffy cygnets on the far side of the lake. A trip down there will be in order.
