Life in miniature

Another warm day in the south. Today my sister and I drove to Chalfont St Giles to visit my late mother's cousin, who is 89. We had a lovely time and had her in hoots of laughter over old memories and new stories.

On the way we called in at the model village of Bekonscot, which I last visited as a child. We didn't have long there but I could have spent the afternoon looking at all the wonderful miniature buildings and people!

These little sailing boats were zooming about all over the show and there's a couple of lovely model railway circuits with trains crossing this bridge and going through tunnels. It seemed rather odd being without kids, but I thought it was brilliant!
