Choice of flowers

Faced with a choice of flowers spotted on Dryden Street, as I headed up for a spinning class, I went with the rhododendron (I assume it is a rhody and not an azalea, but someone will probably correct me; aren't they very closely related?). They are spectacular, but brief. And this one was at peak flower, and nicely positioned against a stone house wall.

A quiet day after more than 9 hours of much needed sleep last night. I've compiled a menu for tomorrow evening, and been shopping for the necessaries. The supermarket had obviously run short of a few things, including basil, but I found some frozen basil, so I'll try running with that.
