Second cousins, once removed

It rained today, all day. No, I lie, there was a brief dry spell this morning but the deluge later made up for it.

Natacha (my French third cousin) and I went to Portobello for a swim and a steam in the Turkish bath, more Roman then hammam. The pool was good, no chatting ladies.

Then out to Restoration Yard for lunch with mum. Bumped into an old colleague from the NE, Northsound community strand. She's with the Beeb now. Talked SW France and shoulders.

Took Nat back to the flat and then home for Springwatch and more L of D. Up to season 4. And outside it continued to rain.

I bought a garden shredder at Lidl. It's very heavy and is still in the car.
