Quod oculus meus videt

On the Towpath's Edge

All my photography took place at the opposite ends of the day,  The morning's effort was spent in the garden and trying to capture the small pools of light that penetrate the mature hedging that protects our garden to the north east.  I've added an extra to show how brief this light can be.

Late on I saw the clouds colouring up so rushed out visiting a location I regularly use for sunrise, but never (to my knowledge) have I visited it for a sunset.  In the end the light was extinguished by the heavy clouds in the main image, though I did like how the flowers of the cowslip were framed by their reflection.
