Water, But No Rain

Tested my foot by walking into town to post something for our son's birthday, plus it was wonderfully cool today. The main square in town was looking especially good, filled with bougainvillea, roses, pansies, the fences lined with red and orange flowering climbers.

Foot good going, less good returning.

Mike has finished automating the water system, set on a timer so that it does the pumping when the sun's at right angles to the solar panels, and not in the hottest part of the day, when we might want to use the air conditioner.

Celebrating by going to Sandra's new place for a snack before the catechism class at 21h.

Gratefuls:
- that we won't be having to set the timer every time we need to pump water (and occasionally forgetting)
- all the birds congregating in our garden
- a cloudy, cool day - hottest was 26°C, such a relief
