Get Off, It's My Turn!

Sat outside eating breakfast, watching the birds coming to drink and bathe in the makeshift birdbath we've set up for them. These are Iberian magpies (Cyanopica Cooki), who supposedly lay their eggs in early June, but we've seen several juveniles (with grey-tipped heads), so not sure what's going on. They're noisy birds, and fascinating to watch how they hover and swoop, and relate to each other.

Getting overrun with ants in the house, so this morning I sprinkled cinnamon everywhere, seems to have done the trick, we'll see...

Off to Évora in a bit, so blipping early, as we'll be back after midnight, probably.

Gratefuls:
- being able to watch all these birds
- another cool day
- the prospect of an outing; after shopping, we're meeting the Amigos for a meal and to watch Aladdin
