Bayfield Wildlife Walk

Mr K and I went to the restaurant for breakfast this morning. In a first for us it was just the two of us. And Archie! The Little Misses were off doing their own thing!
A tasty full English and cappuccinos started off the day nicely!
When I was feeling sick at Cley Spy the other day I took Archie for a walk round the fields and noticed a board with a three mile circular walk on it. We decided to go back and do it today.
And have a late lunch at the lovely Art Cafe!
Ploughman's for me, hummus and gluten free pittas for Miss L, sourdough toast for Miss E and the most amazing blue cheese and mushroom pie for Mr K.
I could have eaten everything on the menu so we'll definitely have to go back soon.
The walk was gorgeous - through farmland, woods and river meadows. And circular which is the best kind of walk!
About two thirds of the way round we got back to Natural Surroundings and stopped for lemonade and tea. And a bacon sandwich for the Little Misses. All the walking must have made them hungry!
Back along the river to Glandford and over the ford back to the village.
When we got back to the campsite we had an evening sitting out in the sun. The Little Misses got burgers from a Spanish takeaway van which was set up in the village square for the evening - Churros and Chorizo. They were amazing!!!! I regretted not having one myself!
