Cute Coots

I wanted to go to the swannery at Abbotsbury for the day today but I didn't really have time. So I reached a compromise with myself and stayed at home for the morning and went to the swannery in the afternoon for a couple of hours.

I'm so pleased I went, even though the weather wasn't too good - there were swans a-plenty and loads of cygnets but my blip for my main journal had to be these tiny coots - as colourful as flowers (Tiny Tuesday theme: 'flower - dead or alive') and very much alive!
