Big sale

I had to go over to Northgate Mall to trade in my TV remote for one that works, and then I walked around for a little bit.  Northgate, which is the oldest enclosed mall in the country, is being transformed because there will soon be a new light rail station right there.  Lots of stores are closing - Penney's is already gone and Macy's will be closed at the end of this month.  Every where I looked there were shops holding closing sales.

I walked by the vintage jewelry store, where they are advertising big discounts, and had a look at their stock.  I thought this pendant would be a good choice for Tiny Tuesday.  You will notice that a $7,350 necklace is now going for the low, low price of $5,135. You can get the chain for just $249.  Some bargains.

Northgate Mall is just a couple of miles from my home, reached by city streets.  In future, I'll have to do my shopping at Alderwood Mall up in Lynnwood, 13 miles away up I-5.  It's not fair.  We've needed a light rail system for all the years I've lived here, but now that It's finally come, it's causing great disruption and changing the character of our neighborhoods. Grump grump.
