Bedruthan Steps

Monday
This morning we went to Bedruthan steps, a particularly spectacular stretch of the Cornish coast. We walked some of the coastal path, then as the tide was going down, we descended the steep stone steps down to the beach. Low tide reveals a huge expanse of golden sand, but you need to be aware of the incoming tide, as it’s very easy to get cut off. We just had a little walk on the beach - the tide still had quite a way to go to low tide - then climbed back up the steps, and on up the path to the National Trust cafe up on the top, where we had a late lunch. Late afternoon/early evening we went to Port Isaac, and had a wander round, before enjoying dinner there.
I’ve included a couple of extras, one of Bedruthan beach and one of Port Isaac in evening light
