another good day

I decided to see if 900mm full frame equivalent is significantly different from 840 mm full frame equivalent. It is.  Of course if you take a vintage manual lens and you put a 2x converter on it and then you put an adapter on it you won't necessarily be able to focus at the far end. 

The weather was perfect, the sky beautiful, the foliage green. The adult eagle flew out several times and even grabbed a fish. A nice woman came along and showed me where the eagle was resting. The heron made an appearance. A bunch of swans presented themselves. 

One the way out we ran into two adorable dogs and a set of neat people. The one woman said she always thought she was a city girl, having grown up in Moscow but we all agreed we are lucky to live near such a green, wonderful area.
