On the wall

Art work in the Dick Vet pub at Summerhall where we went for a meal after the British Institute of Professional Photography Regional Awards. I had a couple of images in contention but neither of them got placed. Making the shortlist meant they were both awarded a merit, but I was left wondering if I was the only person there, not on the regional or national committees, who didn't get at least one first, second or third and as always am left wondering just what they are looking for. Good to chat with some of the other photographers.
