Two heads better than one

NB Taken on July 15th. Blipfoto is confused with my back blipping

Lots of chat before we left our hosts in Milford. Sad that this might be our last visit here. But we’ve had a great weekend.

Then some business to attend to. To the estate agents who are dealing with the sale of J’s Mum’s flat. The market down here is very slow, too many new flats under construction.

Then to the flat. All OK. Then the florists for some flowers which J wanted to lay at the Woodland Burial Ground. The place where we lay her Mum’s ashes is protected by a flock of Canada geese,. And as can be seen in this shot, a flock of mallard, with a heron standing sentinel in the background. It’s a quiet place. Well .... apart from the geese.

Then homeward.

An observation. In Manchester and Salford, they are apartments, marketed with images of attractive, smiling twenty plus somethings. In Christchurch they are flats, marketed with images of healthy seventy plus somethings.
