Green Oats

I went to pick up Miss L from her sleepover - an awesome time was had apparently at the disco and the sleepover! and from there we had to dash to Mrs K's house for Miss L to do an 11+ test paper. Just what she felt like after a sugar fuelled disco and a sleepover probably without much sleep!
I could have done without it too really but Mrs K likes to do the assessments early so she can sort out her slots for next year. Uuuggh, how can we be here again already?!!
Miss L was OK until we got there and then she got all upset and said she didn't want to go in and couldn't it. I said that was fine and we could just go home. Then she got more upset saying she wanted to do it.
But didn't want to.
And on and on for quite a while.
In the end Mrs K came out to see if we were OK!!
Miss L decided to go in but asked if I could stay outside. For two hours. With no book.
It's a good job I love her!!
Mrs K texted me after ten minutes to say she was fine which was a relief.
She did very well, scoring 138 which is two marks less than Miss E got when she did it at the same age. This bodes well!!!!
Miss L always has it in her head that Miss E's the "clever one" and she's not.  It was nice for her to see that she did just as well!!
Now we can forget all about it until next year. Whoop whoop!!
We went to the park for a bit after. Lots of hanging upside down from a great height which always fills me with happiness and joy!!
