Tollcross

A productive day in front of the computer and one unhindered by the persistent rain outside.

Around teatime, I took a run over to Tollcross Park in Glasgow to have a look at their magnificent rose garden. Unfortunately, I had left it a little late as the weather and time had taken their toll - perhaps I should have visited a week or two earlier - but nonetheless the garden was still a magnificent sight and the aroma was wonderful. The rain during my visit was little more than a persistent drizzle, but turned heavy just as I was making my way back to the car.
