Tattoo!

Taken just after midnight as the performance came to its finale. Luckily the rain had stopped. There was the usual cheering to the 'Black Bear' and 'Scotland the Brave' and them it was time to leave. It took a while to leave and a longer time to get down the funnel of Castlehill but luckily we only had to wait 2 minutes for the night bus so in bed by 2a.m.

I woke after 9 and after a fry up we went to Cameron Toll and then the Manor and out for a 'Sunday run'. Although very heavy rain was forecast we missed it. We had a stroll round Stenton and then coffee or tea and superb cakes (patisserie) in a cafe in Gifford.

Then home to an amazing Chinese meal of spinach soup, sweet and sour fish and chicken with cashews freshly cooked by K and O. And we had entertainment at dinner as both vixen and cub were in the garden.

Mum really enjoyed her day and the aunts really enjoyed meeting her. It has worked out well. The only slight issue is, I can't get my boiler to switch off so another night of earplugs.
