This poor tree is on its last legs I think as although you can see lots of berries here many if it’s branches are completely bare. According to a tree surgeon it’s not uncommon as we have had such dry winters of late. He suggested we give it another year. It’s not actually ours but it has been part of my view from the front room in all the years we have lived here so I would be very sad to see it go. Not least as it is so enjoyed by the birds as you can see here and I love to watch them.
It’s getting around to being the season of fruits and berries and (yeah) we have our first red tomato. Much later than some of you I know. We had a late start but there are lots to come and enjoy!
