ABSTRACT THURSDAY - FILL THE FRAME

Looking for inspiration, I wandered around the garden, fully clothed - well, we are having work done - a new carport - and I don’t want to frighten the workmen wandering around in my pink robe!

Together with Lyn, our next door neighbour, we provide them with bacon rolls and a strong cup of tea to start the day and then it’s just tea and cakes throughout the day.  It was my turn today - and it was excruciating grilling bacon while still fasting - but I did it!

Today, Steve put a new piece of wood on the part of the roof that he wasn’t working on, and said that was free of charge in exchange for the bacon rolls - so that was good and saved Mr. HCB a job.

I found an old woodpile with several logs and rather liked this shot - I can see some pareidolia - and LSquare will know what I mean - interestingly, though, Mr. HCB saw something completely different from what I saw.  What do you see?

Going out for coffee again later - it is quite noisy with circular saws and all the banging so it will be good to get out - and of course, I have been rather neglected during the last month of cricket.  I also think Mr. HCB is making sure we do things together, because in September I will then be back down in the pecking order to Number Three, when it will be (1) Cricket  (2) Garden and (3) Me - ah well, every cloud has a silver lining!

     the more abstract it becomes,
          and, ironically, the more real.”
