Nautilus patterns

Today's prompt for the 30 days of composition was pattern and I used my half of a nautilus shell trying to show both the inner and outer pattern. It's still rather muggy but there's definitely a change in the weather (and I see the first leaves turning, for example in the weeping willow).

Thanks so much for all the AT entries, many indeed filling the frame. This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'texture'. The tag will be AT216.
I didn't have time to post comments today, sorry for that,  but I did sprinkle stars on all entries. Here's the list of last Thursday's specials:
craftylady          a lovely textile pattern
dreaming          a natural frame filler
BikerBear           a great grille pattern
pixelfoto            seeing and capturing the abstract landscape in the stone
ExtraTime          a colourful painting on glass

Thanks again and thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's Red admiral
