Reflections

I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep so I finally got up.It was already warm enough to sit out on the porch, but not to read the paper because it isn't delivered until after 7, so Ozzie and I just spent some quiet moments watching the sun rise before the trucks started rumbling by.

I called the insurance company and registered a claim for the damage to my friend's car. She called this morning with apologies for not being able to get it fixed for less than our insurance deductible so that we could leave the insurance company out of it. I told her that I was the one who should be apologizing to her! Especially since there was very little damage to my own car...just the red paint I left on hers!

The dermatologist told me yesterday that there was some evidence to suggest that 1000mgm/day of nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) might help prevent 'non-melanoma skin cancers', so I took myself off to the 'non-pharmacy pharmacy' to get some. When the spot that just had one surgically removed (or 'excised' as they say) develops another one I feel quite ready to try anything. Coming back through the front door, I was intrigued to see how the pattern of the reflections in the front door repeated themselves in the mirror on the other side when I tried a selfie.
