Queen's Hall for the Amatis Trio and friends, brilliant young musicians playing Franck and Dvorak

Down to the Book Fest gardens (via a bank) for food and a read of my book en Plein air. Bit blustery but pleasant.

Then to the Lyceum for "Hard to be Soft' contemporary dance based around Belfast. Then to Southside Scran with mum for great meal with impeccable service.

Lastly to the Usher Hall for Orchestra de Paris - wonderful concert of Beethoven Pastoral and Berlioz. Almost spoiled by the guy sitting behind us but rescued because they didn't return after the interval.

A ridiculous scrum for a bus to get mum home and then taxi back for me.

Busy day?
