Scrub-a-dub-dub

This is the scene when I have become too lazy to clean the hummingbird feeders. In our summer heat they need to be switched out every couple of days. I do empty and rinse them as soon as they come down but they tend to stay on the patio table for a while. It was overcast and under 100F at the time so I scrubbed all six outside with my Scrub Daddy (the glass is cleaned by shaking with diluted vinegar).

I don’t know what I’m going to do about my backyard birds after the surgery. I’m out of seed so those guys will have to find another munching spot. I’m hoping that at least one caregiver can be trained in the finer art of pouring water into a dish.

My dad said to me, “Son, I need to tell you that you were adopted.“
I shouted, “You’re kidding! Really?”
“Yes,“ he said. “Get your things together. They’re coming to pick you up in an hour.“

Have a great week.
