Sunny days

Monday,
A fantastic day out in the sunshine. We headed to Ullapool for the day and had a great time wandering around the streets and looking in the little craft shops. We enjoyed lunch outside at The Ceilidh Inn, pestered by two wasps at the end of the meal so I think we did well.
I love the little fishing boats here and with blue skies and a mountain backdrop it looked stunning.
We stopped at the Loch on the way back again, we stopped on the way up too, so calm and great reflections. A few fish were making circles on the surface on the water and you could see smaller fish in the shallows .A few darters were darting about with some mating.
Next stop was near Loch Garve where we went for a longer walk down Strathgarve. Beautiful, quiet apart of the birds twittering in the tree tops.Spotted lots of fungi, dragonflies, a few butterflies and pine marten spraint .
The Rowan trees are laden with berries and the heather underneath was blooming. We watched tiny frogs hopping along the wetter parts of the path.
A good day out :)
