Now we are Five

Five years ago today we started on our new life.  

Whatever we might have expected this isn't it - what we have is much better than anything we might have expected.  Yes, it's hard work and a bit stressful at times but the core business (and DellCon) continues to, essentially, run itself; we've had huge amounts of joy from restoring, invigorating and sharing the garden; the pleasure of giving service to appreciative guests is immeasurable, and we manage to get a bit of time to ourselves.

To which end, we visited some other guy's innovative organic garden this afternoon at Highgrove as part of an Organic Garden group.  We came away with more ideas than we do from most gardens, oh and a plant or two...
