The ‘Walkers’

Out this morning with the ladies when it was still pretty warm.
Here you see Toby Walker ( sadly we no longer have Toby to walk ) and Wilsden Walker with Buster. Toby Walker is in short sleeves which is almost unheard of!
There was a bit of cooling dampness/drizzle in the air but we got back from this slightly extended walk before the real rain arrived bringing the high temperatures of the last few days down.
This green path is above the main Cullingworth Road, we had just crossed Harden Moor, still full of heather, and walked through the hamlet of Ryecroft to reach it. The farm house in the picture is sadly derelict. Someone was working on it a few years ago but all stopped and there are holes in the roof and windows now. Not sure why but poor access may have something to do with it plus cost of course!
