Day 9

This is me looking back at the bridge we crossed today, which a couple of the party didn't like at all, on our way to the Romalhaus hut.

The bridge has an information board about Auguste Piccard, who was the first person to actually see the curvature of the earth, before crash landing on the glacier.

It began to rain when we were coming up the last bit of the track up to the hut, which is perched on the end of a rocky ridge. These huts are built in amazing positions!

Apparently the first snow is due in a few days, so we've only just made it in time.
