The Show

Well, the weather was not quite as bad as was forecast - a bit of drizzly rain, a breeze, and then, by the afternoon, lots of sunshine. Although some people had obviously stayed away, including sadly a few stands, Dufton Show was well attended and was in full swing when we arrived. It was great to see Jeanneb and Chris there and we had a walk round with them, chatting all the way.

And it was great to see clickychick there too. Here they are in their super stand with all their lovely photos. It is amazing that they made it though, as they arrived and got everything up and ready in awful weather yesterday. (I unknowingly caught their vehicle and caravan on my blip yesterday, just to the right of the big tent). Well done to the two of them. Hope it was all worthwhile.

NB
The mud on the wellies is Dalston mud! It was not muddy at all today. The show used to be held further down, close to the church, but after one bad year, it was moved higher up to these fields and they are far less likely to get muddy.
