Percy almost in focus

I wanted to try out the Lensbaby Edge 50 Optic as a possible alternative to a tilt shift lens. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends assisted in this experiment.

The plane of focus emphasises Percy's buffers, and not his face. I do so wish it were easier to assess focus on the LCD of my Fuji. Shows that I need to slow down a bit  more.

Into Loughborough this morning to buy prawns and fish, but first I had a jolly good breakfast at Baxters' TeaRooms. Basil and I made a foray almost to the end of Fairway Road this evening but not far enough to find the display of Japanese Anemones I'd seen from the bus.
