A view from Jeanneb

Time for tea?

Well actually it was just after breakfast and Eda was going off to London for the day with Mummy and Daddy to see friends for lunch.
I hadn't really intended taking it but she headed to the window to see Daddy loading the car clutching her bunny and piglet who were obviously going to accompany her on the trip.
The tea set is always here on the love seat so she couldn’t resist a little play. Good light from the window and Eda absorbed, chance for a quick snap before saying goodbye.

I’m home now after the usual long but uneventful journey. Bristol was heaving this morning. I got the bus that goes via the university and several roads were closed off. At Temple Meads station there were people queuing to get through the turnstiles, for buses outside and for the Ladies! Within about half an hour it had all quietened down.
Apparently they were expecting  between 16 and 18 thousand people at the University Open Day! Glad I wasn’t travelling back at the end of the day.
We will be back in Bristol soon for someone’s very special birthday!

(Got home to the nasal clearing smell of chutney cooking and there are still masses of tomatoes on the vines!)
