Green Tomato

A thoroughly miserable day and quite cold. Thank goodness for Monday morning ATN singing which is a real bright start to the week.
So an indoor blip today. Chris’s stack of newly made Green Tomato chutney a la Delia, which is what I could smell when I arrived home on Saturday.
We won’t eat it all. Some will be given away and the majority will go on the produce stall at the next church coffee morning with a notice saying ‘ Ready to eat at Christmas’ as Delia recommends leaving it for three months. They have niw all been labelled.
We are still eating last year’s including some Spiced Apple chutney made from some apples given to us by a neighbour.
Late summer is meant to be coming back by the weekend - lets hope!
