Progress

An early picture taken this morning by G as I drove her to work. I wanted to post a recent picture of the Museum of the Future, and I also wanted a picture of a Metro train and voila! Two in one here!

Today, the Dubai Metro is ten years old! It was launched by Sheikh Mohammed on 09-09-09 at 09:09:09 pm. True story! I recorded its fifth anniversary here.

We had Union Co-op shawarmas for lunch for the first time since getting back. Our usual guy who makes them was there and recognised us instantly. We ate by the beach as usual but it is too hot still to roll the windows down.
