Hot air balloon?

At the beginning of August I blipped a shot of our first ornamental gourd appearing on the plant that Chris had grown from seed.

Towards the end of the month there was a flurry of flowers
Which I photographed but didn’t use for blip. The result is another 7 gourds growing on the plant including this one which is nearly the size of a tennis ball.
The original has grown a bit but has either rotted or been eaten in the centre.
No idea what we will do with them!
