Easedale Tarn Blipmeet

This was not just any old blipmeet. The original reason for this get together with Trevorearthy and Biblinros was to pass Blipbear onto his new hosts as he continues his travels around the world.

But there was another reason, it was an opportunity for Gus, one of Blipfoto's new dogs to meet a superstar, the blip phenomenon that is Chloe, a spaniel who has gills as well as lungs. We were in nervous anticipation all the way to Grasmere, would they get on, or would Gus be overawed by Chloe's superstar status?

We met outside the Heaton Cooper Gallery in Grasmere and decided on a walk up to Easedale Tarn. The drizzle became mist and the mist then lifted as we walked and talked all things blip, and other things beside (in deference to Wifie who is less involved in Blipworld than the rest of us).

The canine dynamo Chloe demonstrated her swimming and fetching skills in the tarn for me and the camera (to be posted later on Flickr when I can get the upload to work from the IPad). Then we posed for photographs in front of Easedale. I would have blipped the one that I took that had Wifie in, but to be frank, the blip consultant did a better job than me of composing this and ensuring that everyone was looking at the camera.

It was lovely to meet Trev, Ros and Chloe. And this is the great thing about Lemur Dreams' idea of using Blip Bear to connect blippers in the real world (as well as to highlight the work of the World Wildlife Fund).

But what of that fateful meeting between Gus and Chloe? Alas, poor Gus is obviously not Chloe's type. She didn't so much as reject him with a growl, she simply ignored him. But he did make some new friends in Trev and Ros. And so did we, so all was well.
