Morning Glory

Another glorious September day and the Ladies were out to enjoy it on the early Thursday walk.
As the sun rose I could see there was a heavy cloud inversion in the valley (Aire) bottom and a little wisp of cloud across the trees of the St Ives estate but it had disappeared by the time I set off. We walked through lovely dappled light in the trees until we got to the top of the golf course where we found the mist. The walk down Altar Lane was shrouded in low cloud but we walked out of it again at the bottom!
No sign of any mist on Coppice Pond. Glorious reflections.
The birds were all ready for a feed, a Heron was standing near to the where the swans had slept but there were only 4 cygnets. Only four came out to feed last week but I did see the fifth sitting alone. Hope all is well there.

Waiting for Chris to finish his first luncheon club of the season before we go out. Early start to the play rehearsal tonight too. It’s getting a bit near!
