Christchurch from the Port Hills

Time was getting on last evening. I was wolfing down dinner when the phone rang.

"You're back".

"Just".

"Do you want to do an early morning 2 1/4 hours up and down in the Port Hills?".

"What time?".

"6.45am".

"Done".

And so we did. A 7am it was hot. When we finished at 9.15am it was hotter still. All good though as we need plenty of training for the climb at the end of the month.

A quick clean up, then off to St Lukes. Late morning I caught up with my cousin Mike and his family. Food. What a good idea! And good to see family I don't often see.

The last afternoon of my holiday I spent cleaning up computer files, sorting photos and backing up. A long overdue and relieving job to have done.
