5 hours on 2 trains, 4 hours on a plane, an hour on the metro and still we have managed over 23,000 steps! We do have a couple of extra hours to play with, though, as Greece is two hours ahead of the UK.

We had an afternoon in Athens and had decided to spend it by walking up Lycabettus hill, from where there is an amazing 360 degree panoramic view of the city and the Aegean Sea. On our walk, we passed through some interesting parts of Athens. This was one of them.

There are, as everyone knows, many refugees living here, and many are living on the streets. Right next to the Bread Factory, two men have set up camp. They were there when we left on Monday and we said hello to them again tonight. The police and the security at the posh hotel next door dont seem to mind them being there.
