Knight to Rook 3, Knight takes bishop

What could be more relaxing than a supersized chess match in Hyde Park?

I was a bit surprised they were playing chess because it had been drizzling at lunch time.  They did have the shelter of a huge Morton Bay Fig tree so I suppose they were OK.

There was a rather lovely photographic exhibition which is worth a look if you are passing through Hyde Park.

On the way to the park I was surprised by the number of people out begging.  The chap in the extra had his dog with him who looked to be better off than his master nicely wrapped up in a warm coat and on a warm mat.

The other extra was some early Halloweeners.  Yes, they knew they were early but that is what they were up to.
