Bolt from the blue

This morning a few of us took a walk locally to see how the £10K we've been awarded through the Council's Participatory Budgeting scheme might be spent.  We have ideas for enhancements which will be discussed this afternoon. But there's also a lot of routine maintenance that needs to be undertaken and here's an example. To be fair to the local authority this monstrosity is the property of Network Rail. It's a bolt from the underside of a railway bridge which has become detached. As far as I can make out it's being held up by cobwebs. It's not much above head height on a very well used foot/cycle path so dangerous as well as derelict. My entry for the derelict challenge with thanks to Marlieske for hosting again.

Another gorgeous autumn day to enjoy being outside.
