Another birthday boy!

Our eldest grandson was 8 years old today.
We all went to the Aerospace Museum in Filton, Bristol.
One of the last Concordes is housed there and you can go inside it to see the cabin and the claustrophobic facilities! Amazing plane. Of course I love them.
Sammy’s other granny came too.
It’s a great place for a visit for all the family. They’ve all been several times before, living not far away.
Afterwards it was back to their house for Birthday cake, with the usual rendition of Happy Birthday to you in various keys, ;-). Candle blowing out and opening the presents which we and his other granny brought.
Followed by an afternoon of various activities before Sammy’s best friend arrived at tea-time, and for a Sleep-Over.
We left to come home soon afterwards.
We were once in London when my sister lived not that far from the airport, and you could go up on to the top of Terminal 3 to watch the planes land. We all went to see Concorde flying in one day It was like a bird when the nose cone was dipped as it was gliding down to the runway. Matthew was 4 at the time and he was with us.
Alan was born 4 years later.
We are now at home and watching the end of Strictly Come Dancing
Another milestone passed by today.
