Look! No Rain!

I landed back at Heathrow this morning. It was a gorgeous gorgeous autumn day with NO rain, and I hated to have to go to bed for a sleep. Once I took my nap I spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden and painted one of my garden chairs, ready for next summer. I had got 4 done earlier this summer and never got around to the last two.

I also made it down to the lake, just in time for sunset. It was a beauty! Wish I’d had a flask of tea with me! I just love soaking up the view and seeing the changing colours and shapes of the clouds.
