Autumn reflections

The weather now is vile but we had a pleasant morning walk in the dry.
Some heavy rain last night made the ground pretty wet in places and we could see mist hanging between our village and the neighbouring one up the hill (extras).
Starting out a little later than yesterday it was nearly light and the ladies headed up to the edge of the moor via Deepcliff. We crossed over into St Ives woods and followed the Fairfax entrenchment (civil war) before dropping down to Coppice Pond.
Came across this big puddle with lots of Beech leaves floating on it providing a nice reflection of the surrounding trees.
Managed to get to Bingley and back for some shopping before the rain started.
Meanwhile Chris has been making spicy cabbage soup and yesterday he made leek and potato. Stocking up,for the cold to come!
Have a nice weekend everyone.
