Someone Else's Washing

Got up before sunrise so we could get an early start on a journey to Coimbra today - we have a meeting there tomorrow, and thought it would be fun to take the Team to see another part of Portugal. Stopped off in Evoramonte, where I took this photo - the view while hanging out your washing is to die for. Thrilled to discover that the Scottish/S African couple who were planning to open a B&B there have done so, plus a wonderful café, also with views to die for, but from the other side of the mount.

Then, pizza at Bia's, in Mora, where we lived for a year. Then off to Coruche... and then the trouble started... warning lights started going on in the car. Ended up coasting into a garage, mechanic diagnosed a split hose, not worth mending. At which point, Mike went looking for tape, only found masking and parcel, not the trusty duct, but with those two and a bit of the webbing we use for tying things to the roof bars, fixed the hose, and off we went again.

But now, quite late. Team delivered to a colleague's flat. Found our B&B, and just came in from a superb meal at A Taverna, if you're ever in Coimbra, you must eat here.

Gratefuls:
- my husband and his ability to fix things
- the restorative powers of good food and wine
- a bed to get into in just a sec...  zzz, zzz
