The youngsters look forlornly on the greener open grass of the other side of the fence; keen to hop across but remaining rooted to the spot.

At least, while I'm looking they act like they are.

Complete contrast to yesterday's pleasant and warming sun. Miserable, misty, cold, and utterly yuk at lunchtime today.
