Graffiato (OCB19)

Graffiato is a festival of street art held in Taupo each Labour day weekend. Walls in the town are decorated by artists, with the agreement of the building owners.  The festival has been running for nine years and as the paint deteriorates the walls are repainted so it all looks fresh and inviting.

We did, of course, visit another waterfall - Huka Falls, just north of the town.  As ever, a couple more in the Flikr Folder including a view across Lake Taupo from our stop for tonight.  We are in a DOC (Department of Conservation) Freedom Camping site so lots of other camper vans taking advantage of the free space.

Thanks to everyone for your visits and comments/awards - all much appreciated.
