MIH came in this morning before breakfast.

Here is MIH, next door’s cat, enjoying the sunshine from the back of our settee. It is a year since our own cat of 16 years died and MIH began to come around not long afterwards.
The cushion was a Christmas present from several years ago given to us by our daughter-in-law’s mother. She and her hubby had an elderly cat called Archie. Our son and his wife have one called Momo, who arrived when our first two grandchildren were 3 and 2 years old. She is used to the hustle and bustle of a now 4 children household and used to the children.
A good walk this morning and a friend came this afternoon. Her husband died recently and several years ago we agreed to be Executors for the estate.
So we spent part of the afternoon talking through several things, along with a cuppa and a piece of hubby’s Vegan Chocolate cake. Delicious.
Meantime things in Parliament are still stuck......another vote this evening about a General Election will take place......a bit like the Grinch who stole Christmas if that goes ahead in December! Groan!!!!
