Surprise Visitor ....

.... red-bellied woodpecker.

The weather wasn't nearly as nice as yesterday .... forcing us to have an inside day.  However, we did run out in the afternoon to do some shopping. 

We were both surprised when we looked out the front window and saw this gorgeous red-bellied woodpecker.  If I see one at all it's usually in the back yard .... but occasionally we see one in the front.

I was glad to see him as I didn't have any other blip in mind for today.
