An ordinary life....

Rosy glow...

Backblipped

A bit of a non-event of a day.

Back is a bit sore again.  I know I am moving more cautiously to avoid painful spasms but that's not good as it can lead to problems in other muscles.  Trying hard to straighten up but it's not easy.  Normally an Amazonian hahaha 5' 3" I reckon I am reaching all of 4' 8" at the moment!

Aga man came to service the Aga.  It wasn't the main man but one of his employees who said he was involved in moving the Aga when we re-did the kitchen as part of the building work in 2016 (access to the kitchen was completely blocked for about three weeks so we never saw who moved and converted the Aga from gas to electricity.)

The kitchen was completely derelict when he was here as moving the Aga was the first job to be done before the new kitchen could be fitted.  He said he was delighted when he told he'd got this job as he always wondered how the new kitchen turned out.  He was very enthusiastic about it so that was nice.

Thankfully the Aga passed the service so that's it for another two years.  And it's now switched back on and warming up nicely.  The thing was only switched on for five minutes and David was asking about the possibility of homemade scones.  Chancer!  :-)) Maybe at the weekend.

Eight years mum.  Some days it seems like forever, others like yesterday.  I feel your presence every day though, and know you are always near.  Love you.
